Yukon Trading Canvas Wax is made from our not so secret formula of Beeswax, Paraffin Blend and Flaxseed Oil.
Our canvas wax formula contains a very high percentage of beeswax which leaves canvas relatively supple, not too stiff like other waxes. Wax may yellow light color and natural color canvas. Test on inconspicuous area before applying.
Preheat item to be waxed with a hair dryer or heat gun. Rub canvas wax bar into the surface of your gear, then rub in with finger tips. Finish by heating canvas with a hair dryer or heat gun to create a durable and water-repellent finish.
For full waterproofing or never waxed plain canvas items use the melt and brush method. Do yourself a favor and buy a pound of beeswax and a pound or parafin. Melt them together and brush it on then hit it with a heat gun or hair dryer.
